Who is Dr. Bob?

Koinonia Primary Care

Dr. Bob Paeglow has touched the lives of countless people in this world.  In 1994 during his 4th year of medical school, Dr. Bob, who later founded Compassion in Action/Koinonia Primary Care, went on his first medical mission to war-torn Mozambique.  

What he experienced in Mozambique inspired his deep committment to the care of the underserved. Besides founding Compassion in Action/Koinonia Primary Care to serve the people of West Hill/Arbor Hill in the inner-city of Albany, New York, he has personally led 22 medical missions to parts of Africa, the Caribbean, and Central America. He gathers a team, which includes medical students and residents to assist with these missions in the hope that some day they will also dedicate themselves to serving others in need.
